A Debate Competition was organised by RC Gauhati West in association with Rotaract Club of Rongali Guwahati collaborating with Debate & Symposium Section. Gauhati University in memory of First Death Anniversary of Late Jayabrata Banerjee on 07.08.2025 (Thrusday) from 10:00 Am Onwards. The topic of the debate was: “In the Age of Social Media, Activism is Becoming Performative Rather Than Impactful.” The competition witnessed a rigorous and thought-provoking exchange of ideas from both sides of the motion. After an intense and high-quality debate, the team speaking against the motion was adjudged the winner. Few Members of Rotaract Club and members from Rotary Club of Gauhati west were present to make the event a grand success.
