In a major step toward establishing the regions first Skin Bank, the Rotary Club of Gauhati West hosted its first project- A Skin Donation Program and Awareness on Cadaveric Skin at Nemcare Hospital(Burn Unit) on 08.07.2025(Tuesday) from 04:30 PM onwards. It is a visionary effort from the end of the Modi and Agarwal families to promote skin donation and lay the groundwork for setting up a skin bank in Assam. A dedicated committee has been formed to take the project forward. the members of the committe included: Rtn Krishna baruah, Rtn Binita agarwal, Sanjay agarwal, Ratna Singh, Dr. Bhupendra Prasad Sarma, dr. Nareswar Sarma & Mr. Ranjan Deka.
